Welcome to Architectural Spies Ltd!  Allow us to introduce ourselves: we are two architects from two different countries (Nadya is from Bulgaria and Scott is from USA) who met in Japan.  We are drawn together by our mutual interest in Japanese architecture and culture.  Nadya and Scott are responsible for the making of our publications: Architectural Spies books.  Scott lives in New York City and Sydney, Australia.  Nadya lives in Varna and manages the Architectural Spies office, design studio and publishing house in Bulgaria. We are interested in the people, traditions and cultural environments that surround us.  The goals of this site are to offer and obtain experience in architecture, art, building industry, design, and fashion.  Through this site we seek to create international contacts regarding those trends and in particular to stimulate “architectural espionage”: the act of experiencing and documenting the architectural environments of other countries. We invite you to examine other cultures with your own eyes and share your experience by means of our BOOKSTORE. We are aware that designing and building varies for different countries.  The architectural studio directed by Nadya Stamatova implements projects mainly for Bulgaria but is open to all types of suggestions.  Our archives have projects implemented since the foundation of Architectural Spies Ltd. in 2003.  However, Nadya is an architect with thorough experience since 1981 and you can see her projects by visiting her personal architectural company’s web-site: http://architect-bulgaria.com.  Scott has worked as an architect since 1995 and you can see his personal architectural company’s website: http://www.spsarchitecture.com.  If you are an architect or designer colleague of ours, we could cooperate for a specific project or joint competition participation.  We could help you in drawing a project of yours or in its presentation by means of three-dimensional visualization and represent you in Bulgaria, the USA, and Australia.  Scott has an American architecture license and Nadya has a Bulgarian architecture license. If you are a client who is considering to construct a building, we can design the architecture and interior.  Whether we design your building or if you already have a design, we can act as a consultant for you to connect and arrange for any and all engineer specialists, construction companies, construction material stores, and furniture stores.  We can also recommend companies for purchasing a land plot.
